Knitting and reading in Oakland, California. These are notes from my happily imperfect life.
I have a kid (5 years old now). I have a grandmother (102 years old now). And parents, and a husband, and a brother, and aunts and uncles and cousins and in-laws and friends…. I work as a public health nurse in TB Control, since 2001. I was born in the Bay Area, California. Moved to a farm in Wisconsin when I was five – we had sheep! and goats! and chickens! Moved to Birmingham, Alabama when I was thirteen. Moved back to the Bay Area in 1999. Technically native?
I forget to live when and where I am.
Living leaves us with scars. May they be small, with good stories! Perfection is dull.

Hello! I am writing to see
if you wanted to contribute to
an afghan for Rachael at yarn-a-gogo
in sympathy for losing her mom. I
am trying to collect 8 inch knit
squares.
Please contact me at knitdelaware

Thanks! Krista M
