Rage

How many of us are victims of “loving” violence?  How often do we comfort ourselves in denial of the sheer press of numbers of unknown victims?  Denial that we ourselves are victims, or could be?  We want to think violence happens to someone else, someone not like us.  We think we can see if someone is violent.  We think we can see if someone is a victim.

We lie.  We’re wrong.

 A reminder (via Norma).
